of the community. They are highly respected leaders
and are a model of excellence." Ms. Dowell

these three ladies will always be remembered as
being the first women honored."
The ATL Women's Expo is a two-day event marking
2008 as its second year of existence. More than
2,500 women from all over metro-Atlanta came to
the expo to learn, become inspired, and to have
a good time. "This event offers an excellent
opportunity to come together as a group and focus
on the issues and products important to women
today." said Rose Sipin, ATL Women's Expo
Founder & Promoter. "These ladies who
were honored exemplify the spirit and value for
which all women strive." Over 180 vendors
set up exhibitor booths at the Gwinnett Civic
Center, catering to the needs of women in general.
The attendees who came to this one-of-a-kind event
received advice, information and product demonstrations
for the purpose of enhancing and improving the
lives of Georgia women.
