ATLANTA LATINO, INC. LAUNCHES HISPANIC NEWS
RADIO PROGRAM "ATLANTA LATINO INFORMA"
ATLANTA, April 18th, 2007 - Atlanta Latino, Inc.,
owner of Georgia's premier bilingual publication,
Atlanta Latino Newspaper and Más Entertainment
launched its newest media product on March 22nd,
a Hispanic news talk radio program entitled "Atlanta
Latino Informa." The 30-minute program airs
every Thursday from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm on popular
AM talk radio station, WFTD-Radio La Ley 1080.
Radio La Ley is part of the Prieto Broadcasting
Family, which targets the 18 - 49 year old Latino
listener.
According to Judith Martinez-Sadri, editor-in-chief
of Atlanta Latino Newspaper and Más Entertainment,
"As with our print publications, Atlanta
Latino Informa is committed to presenting radio
content that is both informative and entertaining
to the Latino listener about the issues, interests,
and topics that are relevant to them." Mrs.
Martinez-Sadri added, " Atlanta Latino Informa
is destined to be a tremendous success and a weekly
priority for thousands of Georgia Hispanics."
Atlanta Latino Informa is currently a 30-minute
radio program airing weekly every Thursday, however,
plans have begun to expand the show to a Monday
through Friday five-day format. Also in the planning
stage is to syndicate the Latino news show to
other radio stations throughout Georgia and to
explore the possibility of franchising the concept
to other regional markets.
