HUD SECRETARY MEL MARTINEZ TO KEYNOTE U.S. HISPANIC CHAMBER BUSINESSWOMEN'S LUNCHEON

ATLANTA-As part of the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce's four-day Annual Convention and Business Expo, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Secretary Mel Martinez will give the keynote address at the Hispanic Businesswomen's Luncheon on September 20, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., in the grand ballroom of the Hilton Atlanta & Towers Downtown, 255 Courtland St.

U.S. Small Business Administrator Hector Barreto and Aliza Pilar Sherman, author of Power Tools for Women in Business: 10 Ways to Succeed in Work and Life and founder of Cybergrrl, Inc. will also be among the speakers. Maria Arita, co-host of Hispanics Today, will serve as Mistress of Ceremony. Representatives from Exxon Mobil Corporation, BMW North America, LLC, and The Phillip Morris Companies will also give remarks. Charles Lee, Chairman and Co-Chief Executive Officer of Verizon Communications is slated to receive Corporation of the Year Award at the luncheon.
