USHCC's Annual Convention getting ready

Atlanta Sept. 17.- As workers get ready at the Georgia World Congress Center (GWCC) for the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce's 22nd Annual Convention and Business Expo in Atlanta, this year's event is hoping to draw at least 6,000 business owners, government leaders and corporate executives to tackle the emergence of technology and its impact on business.

With the theme "e-transforming Hispanic Business for Success", the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) hosts its annual convention September 19th through the 22nd.

The Convention activities will take place at the Hilton Hotel Towers, in downtown Atlanta. Important guests and speakers, such as Atlanta Mayor, Bill Campbell, as well as Jeff Dunn, President of the Coca Cola Company, Leo Mullin, President of Delta Air Lines, Inc., Georgia Governor Roy Barnes, U.S. Senator Max Cleland, Rolando Santos, President of CNN International, Duane Ackermann, President and CEO of Bell South Corporation and Fernando Espauelas, CEO of Star Media, among others.

For over four days, the USHCC Convention will connect participants with corporate and government buyers, discuss strategic alliances, and explore business and carrier opportunities.

The Expo's diversity career pavilion at the GWCC will spotlight corporations looking for qualified candidates; personnel will be on hand prepared to hold private interviews on the spot. There is a computer center, co-sponsored by Atlanta Latino, Inc. that may be used to create and update resumes.

Hispanic and international enterprises, Fortune 500 companies and government agencies will participate offering procurement, franchise and carrier opportunities to the people attending on September 21-22 free of charge.(www.atlantalatino.com)
