Tournament Held in Norcross
By José L. Castillo
Norcross,
September 19- The Inaugural Golf Tournament, organized by
the USHCC Foundation Youth Entrepreneurship Program and sponsored
by Coca-Cola Company, was held at Heritage Golf Club in Norcross.
"Coca-Cola
company and its associated bottlers are proud to be a part of
such a significant project like the program created by the United
States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce that helps youth develop leadership
and entrepreneurial abilities," said Carl Ware, Executive
Vice President of Public Relations for the Coca-Cola Company.
Ware,
who headed the list of golfers with his companions Rudy Beserra,
Congressman Bob Garcia and Ramon Rodriguez, emphasized on the
importance of these types of events "that help progress the
community."
Likewise,
Rudy Beserra, Assistant Vice President of Coca-Cola Co. stated
that the enthusiasm and participation demonstrated by the players
is worthy of admiration "since many traveled to this city
despite the difficulty that this
nation is experiencing because of the terrorism attacks that occurred
last week."
George
Herrera, president of USHCC was grateful for the supporters of
this
sporting match and added "that without corporate America,
these types of
events would not be possible."
